When You Leave, The Impact Stays.
Every AfroJetset journey does two things at once. It gives you the trip of a lifetime, and it funds real, ongoing work in the places you visit. 50% of our profits go directly into the Mambowe Impact Fund, our commitment to reinvest in the communities that host us. Not a one-time donation. A standing relationship.
This isn’t charity bolted onto a travel company. It’s the reason the company exists. We don’t say it for marketing. 50% of our profits will be reinvested back into the communities we serve. Forever.
50% of our Profits Reinvested
Half of our profits get reinvested back into the communities we visit. Forever.
A Standing Relationship
Not a one-time gift. Ongoing support that outlasts any single trip.
Travel That Actually Gives Back
Most travel takes from a place. We built AfroJetset to do the opposite. Every journey is locally led, culturally rooted, and financially tied to the community hosting it. That is not a marketing line. It is the structure of the company

Where Your Money Goes
It's how 50% of AfroJetset's profits are reinvested into the communities we travel to, funding education, health, economic development, and creative community programs.
50% of profits. Forever. It's built into how the company operates, not an optional add-on or a seasonal campaign.
Into the exact places you travel: schools, clinics, youth programs, and creative spaces across the communities on our journeys. The four pillars below list what that funds right now.
On most journeys, yes. You meet the programs your trip funds, in person, usually on the community day. It's the day that changes how most travelers see travel.
The 50% is already part of how we operate, so simply booking a journey funds it. Direct contributions are separate and always welcome.
We don't sell vacations. We open doors home.
Every AfroJetset journey is built around real cultural access, led by locals whose families have carried these traditions for generations, with group sizes capped small so you're never a face in a crowd. Every itinerary is one we'd take ourselves.
And we reinvest 50% of our profits into social impact initiatives in the communities we travel to. Forever. That isn't a marketing line, it's how the company is structured. Right now that funds:
- Education — Joyland Prime Academy in Kenya, a school running since 2008 that serves its community long after any single trip ends
- Health — microclinic projects in development across Kenya and Tanzania, expanding access to basic care
- Economic development — entrepreneurship training and creative economic programs for youth, so the next generation builds at home
- Mental health and creative community — our Open Mic, a free safe space built around creative expression that has welcomed more than 500 artists in two years, free to attend and free to perform
When you leave, the impact stays.
Where The 50% Lands
This is what half of every journey actually builds. Not vague good intentions. Named, ongoing, checkable work in the communities that host us.
-
Education
We support Joyland Prime Academy in Kenya, a school running since 2008 that serves its community long after any single trip ends. On the Kenya journey, this is the school our travelers meet.
-
Health
We are developing microclinic projects in Kenya and Tanzania, expanding access to basic care in communities that need it most.
-
Economic Development
Ongoing entrepreneurship training and creative economic development programs for youth, equipping the next generation to build their own businesses and creative careers at home.
-
Mental Health & Creative Community
Our Open Mic is a free, ongoing mental health safe space built around creative expression. In two years it has welcomed more than 500 artists, from across Africa and internationally, to grace the stage. It remains free to attend and free to perform, and we're expanding it into new markets across East Africa.

Testimonials

Several outstanding excursions to different locations made it an exemplary visit. Examples are as follows: Carabali Rainforest Adventure Park for ATV rides. Curated El Yunque Rainforest Tour with local Environmental Specialist. Shopping in the Old San Juan is a must see, so many diverse shops in this one location. For the off the beaten path experience we visited the Iguana Restaurant/Bar in Loiza, right down the road from the Playa Pinones Beach. Good food and golden sand minutes away. Also not to be forgotten while the grownups were having fun we visited the Outlet 66 Mall in Canovanas, where the Just 4 Fun indoor playground was located for our grandson to enjoy himself also. The Rico Pan Bakery is a must stop if you are in the area of Carabali. Thank you Jordan for a most wonderful experience. We will definately be back for more fun and games. This was my second time visiting Africa, but my first time going through a travel agency and I can honestly say, ZERO regrets! As a pretty seasoned traveler, I always plan my own trips. However, recommended by a friend who had work with Afro JetSet Puerto Rico, I decided to give them the chance to enhance my travel experience, especially due to our travel group size. From the moment I inquired, the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. Every detail was thoughtfully planned: knowledgeable local guides, handpicked accommodations, and a well-balanced itinerary that combined iconic sights with hidden gems I’d never have discovered on my own. They also included days of rest which was much needed after that time change! What stood out most was how stress-free everything felt. I could fully immerse myself in the beauty, culture, and wildlife of Kenya without worrying about logistics. From a truly breathtaking safari to delectable meals, this trip exceeded all expectations and gave me a deeper appreciation of Africa's diversity and warmth. I’m already thinking about my next adventure, and I’ll definitely be booking through this agency again. Highly, highly recommended!Posted on Google Mamadou DialloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As someone born in Africa, raised in America, I was drawn to AfroJetset's mission to reconnect people and help them travel to Africa and also build bridges across the diaspora. Jordan helped me plan a solo trip to Puerto Rico and it was lifechanging. It was amazing seeing live bomba and plena drumming, and that our ancestors share rhythms, food, and culture, across oceans. Seeing the school Jordan is building in Kenya along with the vision for the Mambowe Impact Fund was really inspiring. The rainforest, seeing local experiences and underatanding the neo cololonism that plagues the Caribbean and especially Puerto Rico was eye opening. I wish AfroJetset to reach all of its potential and that more people from around the world get to experience Africa with this world class social impact travel agency.Posted on Google Gregory SwainTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an incredible experience traveling to Kenya with AfroJetSet! From the moment I booked, everything was handled professionally and with such attention to detail. The itinerary was well thought out, blending adventure, culture, and relaxation perfectly. Our local guides were knowledgeable and super friendly—they really made the trip special. I got to see the Maasai Mara, experience Nairobi's vibrant energy, and even relax on the coast near Diani. It honestly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and AfroJetSet made it all so smooth and memorable. If you're thinking about exploring Africa, I highly recommend going through them. I’m already looking at where to go next with AfroJetSet!Posted on Google ralph swainTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is my second year traveling to Africa with AFROJETSET. I first did a Kenyan tour with Jordan and my children. That was 2024. This year, I wanted to change it up so I opted to do an Egypt solo travel trip, which I was a bit hesitant, but Jordan’s travel coaching made me feel like it was possible. Looking forward to another adventure and to see if I can keep this streak going of doing at least one trip to Africa. Knowing that half of the profits from my trip are reinvested into a social impact fund to empower youth in Africa was the icing on the cake. Thanks to Jordan and all the team who made a travel dream reality.Posted on Google Kipkurui Oliver29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a lovely time unplugging from city noises going into the quiet and peaceful wild. My friends and I have always wanted to go to Maasai Mara, Kenya and AfroJetset made that seamless as possible. We really appreciate their efforts into an unwinding game drive and good service all round. Very good and calm destination.Posted on Google LecheTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What I liked about AfroJetset and being around their team is the focus to mental health in Diani Kenya. I enjoyed my stay with Afro carribean food, some fun activities and even learnt some photography skills I never knew I needed through them. Overally, I'd highly recommend their services. Can't wait for round 2!!Posted on Google Beatriz Rodriguez MelecioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Estuve aquí para una cena preparada por Jasquiat.
