MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

This statement is published voluntarily by AfroJetset LLC to set out the steps we have taken, and continue to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

AfroJetset LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company operating tour and travel services and does not currently meet the statutory turnover thresholds that make publication mandatory under legislation such as the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 or the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.

We choose to publish this statement because we believe tourism should be a force for good, and because it reflects the values our company is built on.

2.1 Our Commitment

AfroJetset LLC has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking of any kind. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships and to implementing effective systems and controls to guard against slavery and human trafficking taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

2.2 Our Organization and Supply Chains

AfroJetset LLC curates group trips, private luxury travel, and retreats across East Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and other destinations connected to the global African diaspora.

To deliver these experiences, we work with a network of local partners, including destination management companies, hotels and accommodations, ground transportation providers, tour guides, artisans, and event vendors.

Because our supply chain spans multiple countries and regions, we recognize that risk factors for modern slavery and human trafficking can vary significantly by location. We take this seriously in how we select and monitor our partners.

2.3 Our Policies

Our commitment to combating modern slavery is reflected in this statement and in our internal business practices, including:

  • Requiring that our direct partners and vendors comply with local labor laws and do not use forced, bonded, or child labor.
  • Reserving the right to end business relationships with any partner found to be in violation of these standards.
  • Encouraging our team and partners to report any concerns related to labor exploitation without fear of retaliation.

2.4 Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

Before entering into a relationship with a new destination partner, hotel, or vendor, we consider factors including their reputation, local labor practices, and any publicly available information regarding labor or human rights concerns.

We prioritize working with partners who share our commitment to fair treatment of workers.

2.5 Training

Members of our team who work directly with vendors and destination partners are made aware of the signs of forced labor and human trafficking and know how to escalate concerns internally.

2.6 Effectiveness and Ongoing Commitment

As AfroJetset LLC grows, we intend to formalize and expand our due diligence processes, including more structured vendor agreements and periodic reviews of our supply chain.

We will review and update this statement annually.
